Entrepreneurship & Pitching: From Idea to Solution
About this Course
This course introduces young participants to the basics of entrepreneurship and pitching. Participants learn how to identify everyday problems, understand users, develop practical ideas, and present their solutions clearly and convincingly.
Through simple tools such as business models and the Value Proposition Canvas, the course helps participants define who their solution is for, what problem it solves, and why it matters. It also guides them in preparing a pitch that explains the problem, solution, users, value, prototype, and expected impact.
By the end of the course, participants strengthen their entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in presenting ideas.
This course is part of the High-Tech Youth Caravan – FabMobile BiH project, implemented with the support of the BOOST Balkans initiative, coordinated by ALDA Balkans and funded by Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

Course Syllabus
Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- Understanding how everyday problems can be transformed into opportunities, products, applications, or social initiatives.
From Problem to Business Idea
- Learning how to identify a problem, understand the target user, define the value of a solution, and use simple business model tools.
Value Proposition
- Exploring how to connect user needs, problems, and benefits to create an idea that is useful, relevant, and meaningful.
Pitching an Idea
- Learning how to present a solution clearly through a structured pitch covering the problem, solution, users, value, prototype, use case, and impact.
