Suburban Camp for Beginner Makers
Focusing on Modern DIY

The suburban camp for young DIY enthusiasts and inventors is designed for children aged 6 to 12, focusing on exploration, world discovery, creativity, and inventiveness. At Pluhárna, we will take children into the fascinating world of DIY, invention, and sports activities. By working with various materials and technologies, we will explore, create, and learn together how things work and how to entertain ourselves with DIY and the knowledge gained, either alone at home or with parents.

The suburban camp will take place in two shifts, each for 24 children, at Pluhárna, a place full of creativity and DIY in Mladá Boleslav. The program for children will run over five days (Monday to Friday) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Pluhárna in Mladá Boleslav.

Instead of traditional frontal teaching, which children often experience in schools, we will encourage children to learn through play, invention, and creating their own things and products. The program will focus on working with various types of materials, scientific exploration, and DIY. It will also include simple sports activities and competitions, providing children with creative fun, the opportunity to create something, and sufficient movement and relaxation.
