MakeATon turns each school challenge into a live build sprint.
Students form teams of three, develop an idea in phase 1, and up to three teams push their prototype forward for the final Maker Faire selection.
Day 1
FabMobile demo and workshop
One-hour presentation followed by hands-on work with the FabMobile.
Day 2
Idea development
Teams refine their concept and shape a feasible solution.
Day 3
Presentations
Projects are reviewed, finalists are selected, and phase 2 begins for up to three teams.
Team rules
Exactly 3 students per team
Registration is only valid when all three members are listed. The first person who accepts their invite becomes the team admin.
Phase 1
Idea submission and finalist review
Teams work privately on a single project submission. After the deadline, the FabLab team reviews every project and selects up to three finalists.
Phase 2
7+ days to build the finalist prototype
Finalists keep working for two more weeks. When the final ranking is assigned, the ranked projects are published on Maker.ba.
