Challenge brief
Participation is possible only in teams of 3 students. Each team submits one idea solution for the school challenge through the online platform.
After the deadline, the FabLab team reviews the submitted ideas and selects the best solutions. Selected teams continue to the prototype development phase with mentor support. The winning team from the school qualifies for the final programme and presents its solution at Maker Faire Sarajevo 2026.
Competition flow
Phase 1
Teams develop the idea, submit one private project, and wait for finalist selection after the deadline.
Phase 2
Up to three finalist teams get more time to turn the idea into a real prototype with mentor support.
Final outcome
The final ranking can include first, second, and third place depending on how many teams advance.
