Laboratory for Product development and design have a goal to become a place at University where students, researchers and private companies can work together in collaborations to create a new products and innovations. Laboratory will have “open access” approach, which mean that students can use this Laboratory, in any times, to work on practical solution and to develop new prototypes and new products. It is integral part of Department of Mechanical Design at University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Laboratory will be “Maker Space” for product development, “Innovation Lab” for development of innovation and new solutions, “Business Incubator” for development of new business ideas and StartUp-s. Most important difference between our laboratory and other maker spaces is in the fact that it is located at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and it is integral part of education system. Because of these two unique properties laboratory is always full of students and students projects.
